The horses bringing Anthony Hunt to his funeral
AN animal lover was taken to his funeral by two horses who led his cortege through Hereford.
Anthony Hunt passed away at Hampton Grange nursing home in Hampton Park, Hereford aged 85.
The former air-conditioning manager at Denco's was taken from a family member's home in Hampton Bishop to Hereford Crematorium on Westfaling Street by the two equines last Friday morning.
His daughter, Julie Lewis, said the procession was a fitting tribute given that her father had had horses all his life.
Mr Hunt is survived by his wife, Jean, two children, Julie and Steve, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
