SINGERS are set to line the banks of the River Wye as part of this year's annual water festival.
Elle Holliday, who runs choirs in Gloucestershire and the Forest of Dean will be holding sessions for people of all ages who want to sing and be part of the festival performances and the finale on May 15.
The first of her sessions will be held on Saturday in the Courtroom at Shire Hall Monmouth between 2pm and 4pm. This will be followed by another session on Sunday at Llandogo Village Hall between 2pm and 4pm.
Sarah Sawyer, community links officer with the Wye Valley area of outstanding natural beauty said: "Singing opportunities will continue in the lead-up to the festival, with talented choir leaders and singers leading enjoyable and fun events, singing songs about water, rivers, rain, tears, and tea!
"We will look at all kinds of different songs, so whatever kind of music people like, there’ll be something they love."
