CHILDREN who attend Dolau Playschool and guests for their open day celebrated the Chinese New Year on February 8 by using chop sticks to eat noodles, prawn crackers and lychees. The children also played with red play dough and made Chinese dragons in their craft session.

The busy playschool has 14 members on the register and is held in Dolau Community Centre on Monday and Thursday mornings (9am - 11.30am) for children two years and over. Once the children are three they can also attend on Tuesday and Friday afternoons (1pm - 3.30pm) in the school setting. Charges are: session fee £6.80 and snack money £1 per week. Session fees are met by three plus funding from the term after the child's 3rd birthday.
