A JACKKNIFED lorry resulted in a three-hour road closure yesterday.

Police were called at 9am to reports of a jackknifed lorry on the A40 westbound near Goodrich.

Fire crews from Ross-on-Wye and Whitchurch attended and made the vehicle safe and used grab packs on a diesel spillage.

A road closure was in place between Pencraig and Whitchurch until 12.10pm. Highways attended to deal with a reported diesel spillage.

There were no reported injuries.
