Kelly Clee, secretary of Llanbadarn Fynydd YFC donated a cheque for £1000 to Mandy Pearce from Mid Powys Mind at Llanbadarn Fynydd YFC’s annual dinner at the Elan Valley Hotel, Rhayader
LLANBADARN Fynydd Young Farmers raised £1000 at their Christmas quiz and two nights of carol singing in December. At the club's annual dinner last weekend at the Elan Valley Hotel, Rhayader, club secretary Kelly Clee presented the money to Mandy Pearce of Mid Powys Mind.
Kelly thanked everyone who had supported them by donating the money adding "We are so pleased to be able to donate £1000 which will be put towards the New Youth Service at Mid Powys Mind, supporting 18-25 year olds and a first aid course." Kelly, will be joining Mid Powys Mind as a volunteer and intends to help Mandy develop the new youth service.
