PLANNING permission has been approved for 27 new homes to be built in Madley.
Bage Developments Ltd was seeking permission to build the homes on land adjacent to Faraday House and the scheme included plans for nine affordable units.
Madley Parish Council 'strongly opposed' the application and said it was concerned about the impact of traffic, the impact on infrastructure and the village primary school among other things.
But Herefordshire Council's planning committee decided to give the go-ahead to the plans at last week's meeting.
