AN opportunity to try Nordic walking is on offer near Bromyard.
Visitors to Brockhampton Estate can try out the activity which uses long poles and is said to help build core strength.
Using the walking poles, which are provided as part of the taster sessions, also helps to improve posture and provides a balanced workout, evenly working both the left and right sides of the body at once.
Groups of up to 14 people will be guided around the estate by a Nordic walking instructor and expert from Brightstripe Cultural Health, starting at 11am.
Visitors to the moated manor house will be taking inspiration from the lives of the family that lived there during the 1950s, with paper boat making taking place in the lounge.
Refreshments and one pot meals are also available from the Granary kiosk and the shop will be open.
Call Brockhampton Estate on 01885 488099 for more information.
