Mixed hoggets averaged £60.92 per head selling to £70 per head for Texel cross mixed hoggets from J L and K H Nixon and Sons, Cefnpenarth. Also to £66 per head for Clun mixed hoggets from Farm and Forestry, Guifron. £64 per head for Texel cross mixed hoggets from W and V J Lewis, Nantywellan and Beltex cross ewe hoggets from G R Adams, Anchorage. £62 per head for Texel cross mixed hoggets from Farm and Forestry, Guifron. £60 per head for Texel cross hoggets from K M and D J Poole, Cregnant.
Next sale of store cattle and store hoggets is on January 15. Catalogue entries close January 7 at 5pm.
