A LEDBURY takeaway, which was closed down by council inspectors after cockroaches were found, re-opened this week.
A Herefordshire Council spokesman said that inspectors were "satisfied with the work undertaken" since the closure.
The Paradise Balti and Tandoori in Bye Street was closed following a routine inspection on Thursday, December 3.
Herefordshire Council had its decision upheld by Hereford Magistrates at a hearing on Monday, December 7.
But now it is business as usual for the Paradise.
A Herefordshire Council spokesman said: "Our environmental health team allowed them to re-open on Monday.
"They are normally closed on a Monday, so they re-opened to customers the following night, Tuesday."
The spokesman added: "The environmental health team visited Paradise Balti and Tandoori with an experienced pest control officer and was satisfied with the work undertaken.
"As well as protecting the public’s health, the team have supported the business to reopen and get back on their feet."
