During this time he undertook an NVQ Level 2 in Performing Engineering Operations and has since specialised in electrical engineering, completing a two year C&G Level 3 Diploma in Engineering - Maintenance, Installation and Commissioning.

Haigh Engineering HR officer Ann Sadowski said Mitch has worked extremely hard and excelled academically, achieving high grades in his qualifications. He is now approaching the end of his apprenticeship and is finalising his NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, the requirement for successful completion of an Advanced Apprenticeship.

She added that Mitch is a valued and capable member of staff and as his electrical skills and knowledge have developed he has been able to assist Haigh site engineers on installation of our waste processing equipment at sites throughout the UK.
