A MOTORCYCLIST is believed to have suffered ‘life changing injuries' after a crash near Mordiford.

The crash happened between a grey Toyota and a black Suzuki motorbike on the B4224 at the junction with Holme Lacy Bridge shortly after 1pm.

A police spokesman said that the motorcyclist is believed to have suffered “life changing injuries” and has been taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.

An air ambulance attended the scene along with police, a paramedic and a normal ambulance.

The B4224 at the scene of the accident is currently closed
