HEREFORD gained only their second win of the GoCrea8 Hockey League Conference North season after beating bottom club Lydney 3-0.

Leominster, meanwhile, went down 5-1 at home to leaders Wotton-under-Edge.

Ross-on-Wye are two points clear at the top of the De Cymru & The Marches 2 table after overcoming Bridgend 2nds 4-0.

Cardiff Medics, who were level on points with Ross, drew 2-2 with Gwent.

Elsewhere, Leominster thrashed Stroud 2nds 8-2 in The Marches 1, but Ross 2nds went down to 5-4 defeat against Stroud 3rds.

In the West Clubs' Women's Hockey League, Hereford lost 2-1 to Salisbury in Premier Division 2A and Leominster were thrashed 7-0 at Old Bristolians in North Division.

Hereford 2nds were also beat, going down 5-0 at home to Cirencester in Severn Division 1, but Colwall & Malvern claimed a 2-2 draw against Cheltenham Civil Service.

Colwall were 2-0 down, but levelled through Jackie Styles and Georgia Sammons.

In Severn Division 2, Ross drew 1-1 with Bourton & Sherbourne 2nds, while Colwall & Malvern 2nds lost 8-2 to Lansdown 3rds in Severn Division 3; Chloe Williamson and Jess Haffield scoring foe a depleted Colwall side.

Presteigne thrashed Whitchurch Saints 3rds 6-0 in Premier 2 of the South Wales League thanks to goals from Jess Goodwin (3), Charlie Morris (2) and Debbie Evans; Kington lost 5-0 to Cardiff University in Division One.
