GATHERING in the potato harvest can be hard work, but some funny-looking spuds can provide light relief.
This vegetable was likened to a rabbit wearing a hat and a mutant Mickey Mouse by the friends of the farming family who uncovered the potato in Ivington, near Leominster.
Annie Neesham, who was with partner Jonnie Hanson and three-year-old son Fred when the discovery was made, said: “There’s nowt like a comedy potato.”
Other suggestions for the spud, which has been named Doug, included a snowman and Olaf.
