A HEREFORD church is collecting items for refugees in Calais ahead of the winter months.
Hereford Christadelphians is calling for members of the public to support its campaign and says many of the refugees in Calais are sleeping in make shift camps or even without shelter.
The church is calling for warm clothing (especially men's), coats, gloves, woolly hats, toiletries, sleeping bags, blankets, tinned and dried food, camping cookers, small tents, bottled water and cuddly toys.
It plans to deliver the items to a distribution centre in Calais at a later date.
