ONCE again the residents of Knapton, Birley and Bush Bank come under the threat of broiler sheds.
The dust from the construct of Garnstone Farms sheds has hardly settled and the owners of Rogers Farm, Knapton, decide broiler sheds is their future too.
Unfortunately these are to be located right on their neighbour’s doorstep!
Is it not time Herefordshire Council and Cargills actually agreed some basic parameters about where these sheds should be located?
It is recognised that these sheds cause considerable nuisance to residents who live near them and yet to date the council and Cargills pay no regard to the views of local people who pay their council tax and try to exist in their community too.
It’s time for some balance to appear in the decision-making processes that to date have seemed totally biased.
