A MAN who broke a shop ban given to him by the courts for continually shoplifting has been told he is allowed to go to a shop in Ross-on-Wye.

Nathan Harrison, 30, was told by Hereford Magistrates Court that he was not allowed in any shops in Herefordshire besides Sports Direct in Hereford, and Morrisons and Boots in Ross.

Harrison, of River View, Ross, was given the three-year Criminal Behaviour Order after racking up more than 50 offences for theft.

But within a week he had been arrested for breaching his order on August 17 when he entered a shop in Ross.

Police said he appeared in court on August 20 and was fined £180, plus costs.

The order was amended to allow him to enter Gwalia Store in Ross to make purchases as he lives in Ross - this is additional to the existing conditions.
