THE Halo Golf Club recently presented a cheque to the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.
The presentation was made on August 23 for the amount of £1000.
The donation was made up of all of the fines that the club had collected during the last 12 months.
Golf club members paid 25p per bunker and 50p if their ball went into a bush or if they lost a ball.
Chairman Clive Butler was quick to point out that the club had a lot of bushes and bunkers, not bad golfers.
This is the 5th year that the club have given a donation to the air ambulance.
