SHOPPERS have been evacuated from a Leominster supermarket after a heavy downpour caused part of its roof to collapse.
Morrisons, off Barons' Cross Road, shut when a number of ceiling tiles started to fall from the roof of the store following heavy rain, thunder and lightning this afternoon.
No one was hurt but customers were asked to leave the store as a precaution.
A spokesman for Morrisons said staff were working to re-open the store as soon as possible.
