THIS year’s Kingstone High School prom was at the delightful venue of the Left Bank. Everyone enjoyed the spectacular setting overlooking the river.

One of the highlights of the prom is seeing everyone arrive dressed up and looking glamorous. Staff, parents and members of the public watched the grand arrivals over the old bridge, some of which did literally stop the traffic. Emily Fletcher was our very own damsel in distress who arrived on horseback guarded by her Kingstone Knights and Kieren McMenemy, in full kilt was piped over the bridge by an accompanying bagpiper. Then of course there were the limousines, pedicab, tractor and the space-hoppers which made everyone cheer. Everyone looked beautiful, prizes were awarded, and dance offs held: Prom King and Queen was awarded to Ben Dennehy and Sophie Simpkins.

The prom was a lovely way to say goodbye and good luck and everyone at Kingstone High School would like to wish all of our leavers the very best for the next stage of their lives.
