KINGTON pupils enjoyed a taste of running a hotel when they visited the family-run, four-star Metropole hotel and spa in Llandrindod Wells.
The pupils, from Lady Hawkins’ school in Kington, were gleaning information for the BTEC courses they are studying.
The students were particularly keen to find out about customer service and staff management, as well as the complexities of running a large hotel.
