INVESTIGATORS are examining the cause of a blaze that burnt out an empty flat in Hereford overnight.
At present, the blaze is being called "accidental."
Police and fire investigators spent time at the scene in Oak Crescent, Hinton, Hereford.
Emergency calls reported the block as filling with smoke just after 11.30pm.
Firefighters forced a way into the flat through a window, neighbouring flats were evacuated.
The flat was unoccupied at time and has since been boarded up.
