TWO Herefordshire-based care schemes are to help celebrate the annual Ledbury Community Day this Saturday (June 6).
With more than 70 local groups and organisations taking part, Ledbury Nursing Home and Leadon Bank Extra Care Housing scheme will be hosting a variety of activities to help celebrate.
Staff from both of the schemes, which are owned and run by Shaw healthcare, will be decorating the communal areas, as well as opening up the gardens for public use.
Ledbury Nursing Home will have live music, hand therapy massage stations and artwork on display throughout the day, rounded off with a giant tombola and refreshments of tea, coffee and cake.
Leadon Bank Extra Care Housing scheme on Orchard Lane will also be holding musical and dance performances, finishing with a ‘Leadon Crufts’ style dog show, complete with a plant stall, BBQ and refreshments.
