AT 11am on May 16 Aardvark Books in Brampton Bryan near Knighton staged a special talk about the Mappa Mundi which is in Hereford Cathedral.

The talk was given to a full gathering of invited guests by Stephen Cox of the Royal Academy who was inspired by the Mappa Mundi and put on a display at Aardvark Books

of drawings and sculpture some of which had never before been exhibited.

Dominic Harbour the managing director of Hereford Cathedral who has had a long association with Hereford's Mappa Mundi explored how different artists and writers and illustrators have been inspired by this famous map.

The exhibition was on display for the one day only.
