A BET between three brothers saw the Paris marathon run.
Jason Williams promised siblings Aaron and Christian that he could complete a 26-mile run during a pub debate two years ago.
And, after many training laps around Hereford streets surrounding his Aylestone Hill home, the 29-year-old builder completed the feat earlier this month in four hours and 15 minutes.
The winnings from the bet were added to the charity total which is closing in on £1,000 and will be donated to the Stroke Association.
