I HAVE lived in Herefordshire for 32 years and Hereford is still in desperate need of a ring road. This is a consequence of consecutive out-of-touch Tory and Lib Dem councils. If I get elected I will hold a local referendum.

In my village we have just two scheduled bus stops a week. I see more horses than I see buses! This can’t be right for the elderly who need to get in to Hereford or visit friends and for the less well-off too who need public transport to travel to work or go and seek work.

Why is this happening? Well, it’s in part, lack of moral fibre by the Tory-led council and because the ConLibLab are willing servants to their masters, the German-dominated European Union to push the European Union Directive (TEN-T), and would rather pour £52-£100+ billion into HS2, their ridiculous vanity railway project, just to knock 20 minutes off the London to Birmingham train, than give Herefordshire a 21st century transport network.

UKIP will scrap HS2 and uprate local and national rail and bus networks across the rural regions. UKIP will maintain pensioner bus passes.

Another shocking Tory council failure. The road from Kabul to Khandaha is in a better state than many of our roads in Herefordshire.

The council appear clueless as how to address road repairs. I’ve actually seen them use the rear wheels of a Transit van to level a pothole they had just filled.

The council just don’t care, otherwise they would do the job properly – wouldn’t they!

We have the money, only the ConLibLab choose to give £55 million per day membership fee to the European Union and billions on HS2.

A vote for me will be a vote for common sense and fairness.
