City rowers take senior team prize

HEREFORD Rowing Club, who won last year's Club of the Year award, were again represented among the prize-winners at the 2006 event.
The club's men's senior coxed four of Rod Phillips, Richard Bissell, Phil Hart and Chris Jones, with cox Daniel Hart, were rewarded for their outstanding season by picking up the Senior Team of the Year award. The team had a succession of victories during the season, winning at the Veteran Fours Head of the River in London and at the Stourport Winter, Worcester Autumn, Gloucester and Worcester heads of the river as well as Nottingham City and Evesham regattas and the National Veteran Champion-ships.
