THE Knighton Under Fives Eggstravaganza held last weekend raised over £400 for the preschool group. At the event there was lots to see and do including an Easter egg hunt, guess the name of the teddy and how many sweets in a jar, catch an duck and win a prize, carrot lucky did, raffle, tombola, face painting, arts and crafts, cake sale and refreshments.
Raffle winners included Sandy Davies, Faith Price, Jane Watts, Zara Hardwick, Edith Wood, Nia Gough, Sally Middleton, Colleen Banks, Jemma Hyett and Lacey Smith. Winner of guess the number of sweets was Esme Bird, winner of name the teddy was Lacey Smith.
On behalf of the under fives committee Ellen Roberts thanked all who supported them, everyone who donated money, prizes, cakes and other items with special thanks to The Lion Leintwardine, Tesco, Monkey Mania, West Midlands Safari park and Oaker Wood Leisure.
