HEREFORDSHIRE Heartstart joined forces with the British Heart Foundation Furniture shop in Hereford recently. The BHF shop staff were celebrating their first birthday with lots of offers in store.
Herefordshire Heartstart representatives were on hand to promote the free two-hour Heartstart 'how to save a life' courses.
Herefordshire Heartstart is a voluntary organisation and registered charity, which delivers Heartstart courses throughout Herefordshire.
At the two-hour courses, delivered by trained volunteer instructors from Herefordshire Heartstart, you learn how to deal with a conscious casualty, unconscious casualty, dealing with choking, serious bleeding, heart attack and how to perform CPR. There are public courses and courses for groups, voluntary organisations and schools throughout Herefordshire.
