The start of 2015 was a wet one in Dymock, according to local weather watcher, Tony Denby.
Mr Denby, looking over his statistics said: "This has been the wettest January that I have recorded in 25 years; though not the wettest month, which was July 2007, with 181.6mm."
Mr Denby recorded 71.3mm of rain for January, this year, compared with a monthly average for January of 58.1mm.
But Mr Denby, of Great Woodend, said: "However, it was relatively warm, it did not snow and those wonderful harbingers of spring, snowdrops and even the crocus, all appeared on time."
