Suspected arson in Leominster

Officers said between 3.30pm on Saturday and 7am on Sunday a fire was started through a letterbox at a property in Etnam Street.

They said the fire burnt itself out and only damaged a rug.

There was no-one in the property at the time.

Police are appealing for anyone who has information on the incident or witnessed anything suspicious on Etnam Street at the time to come forward by calling 101, quoting incident 291s of 11th January or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
