A TEENAGER was talked off the top of Hereford’s Widemarsh multi-storey car park by a police negotiator last night (Tues).

Officers called to the car-park at 8pm saw the 16-year-old boy sitting in a “dangerous position” on the upper level of the block.

All three emergency services were on standby at the scene as the negotiator went up to bring the boy back from the edge.

Once down, the boy was detained under the Mental Health Act and is now in “appropriate care”.
