PUPILS and staff at a Hereford primary school are crossing their fingers an anti-bullying song they devised will win a national competition.
Nine pupils from St Paul's Primary School in Tupsley have recorded Don't Be Afraid as part of an anti-bullying song competition led by internetmatters.org and the Anti-Bullying Alliance.
The Hampton Dene Road school is currently in the top five across the UK, with county residents being urged to 'like' the song, which includes lyrics written by the pupils taking part, by this Thursday's 6pm deadline.
Pop singer and former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Sophie Ellis-Bextor is among the judging panel.
The winning school will receive a visit from British Olympic athlete Christine Ohuruogu, as well as signed sporting items from Usain Bolt and Mo Farah.
