TWO firemen from Hay-on-Wye will be pedalling for Pudsey tomorrow as the father and son team get in the saddle for a 12-hour session to raise money for Children In Need.

Dad Stephen and his son Harry will be using ‘turbo trainers’ – a piece of equipment that allows cyclists to stay in one place, while pedalling their bike – to complete the challenge in Hay’s Butter Market.

The pair could be in for a pretty chilly start, they start cycling at the outdoor market at 4am, but will be fuelled by liquid gels, and flapjacks by Stephen’s wife and Harry’s mum, Teresa.

They will be raising money on the day, but you can also donate online via the Just Giving page www.justgiving.com/Stephen-Ratcliffe2/
