The police convoy
Eagle-eyed Dan Vesma posted this video on You Tube after spotting the convoy travelling along the A417 through the Trumpet crossroads yesterday.
West Mercia Police has this morning told the Hereford Times it was part of a "pre-planned operation".
"Unfortunately, due to the nature of what was happening, I cannot release any further details," said Police Sergeant Dan Pilkington, from West Mercia's South Herefordshire Local Policing Teams.
"I can confirm that there is nothing to worry about from a public safety point of view, and this did not take place solely in Herefordshire."
