THE sun came out for the annual ploughing match organised by the Trumpet and District Agricultural Society .
It was held on October 2 at Rosemaund Farm, Preston Wynne with permission of Mr and Mrs Cyril Simcock and William Chase.
The previous warm weather meant the ground was too hard for some ploughmen but spectators enjoyed a day of both tractor and horseploughing.
