A ROSS-ON-WYE mother went through the traumatic experience of accidentally locking herself out with an 18-month-old baby left in her home this morning.
The mum was putting her bin out on Broadlands, just off Brampton Lane, when a gale-force wind blew the door closed, locking her out.
She phoned the police, who then got in touch with the fire department, and within 20 minutes she was able to get back in, finding the baby safe and well.
A fire crew from Ross took the call at around 10am and used a triple-extension ladder to gain access through one of the upper-story windows.
