Bromyard Community Hospital has been closed to visitors as it copes with an outbreak of diarrhoea and vomiting
Wye Valley NHS Trust confirmed the closure this morning as a "preventative measure" after patients became ill over the weekend.
The measure closes the means the hospital's ward is shut to all visitors until further notice.
Other areas of the hospital are open as normal with an emphasis on hand hygiene practice.
The Trust also warns that anyone who has experienced symptoms of diarrhoea and/or vomiting in the previous 48 hours must avoid visiting any of the hospitals in the county.
