Leominster man named as victim in A49 fatal.
THE man who died in a fatal collision on the A49 on Monday has been named as Hugh McGuigan, from Leominster.
Mr McGuigan, 55, was killed following a collision between his motorbike and a car near Moreton-on-Lugg crossroads at around 11.30am on Monday.
He was pronounced dead at the scene at around 12.30pm.
His family has been informed and wish for their privacy to be respected at this time.
An inquest is due to be opened into Mr McGuigan's death this afternoon.
A 19-year-old woman from Ellesmere Port in Cheshire has been arrested, believed to be the driver of the car, and is currently being questioned by police.
