VITRUVIAN Lodge of Ross-on-Wye has continued its support for St Michael’s Hospice in line with the wishes of the Masonic Province of Herefordshire.
On behalf of the Freemasons of Ross-on-Wye, Nick Swan, Provincial Grand Charity Steward, presented fellow Worshipful Brother Allan Lloyd, with a cheque for £750 in support of his campaign to raise awareness and funding of St Michael’s Hospice now in its 30th year.
Allan Lloyd emphasised the need to support the hospice and its £11.5 million programme of renovation and extension – a challenging project, that will maintain the sound reputation and the high quality of care associated with the hospice, for the next 30 years.
The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master for Herefordshire, the Reverend David Bowen, a member of Vitruvian Lodge, fully endorsed this donation for St Michael’s Hospice as being one of the county’s charitable institutions that warrants the full support of Herefordshire Freemasons.
