FOODIES in Herefordshire have voted for their favourite venue in this year's pie and ale trail.
Almost 30 venues took part in the h.Food Fringe's competition but with a "very special rich and sticky butty beef calzone", the Rocket Kitchen Cafe on Church Street was voted the winner.
The fringe festival took place over the same weekend as the Flavours of Herefordshire Festival and offered a range of events throughout the city.
It was a collaboration between between the Bulmer Foundation, Herefordshire New Leaf (h.Energy), Cafe @ All Saints, Shepherds Ice Cream, Mo Burns, and other local independent food producers and outlets.
Chef and owner of Rocket Kitchen, Ben Holden, said: "I'm delighted to have won and I just really hope the fringe festival takes off and continues to be as successful next year."
He added that his business saw an increase in customers over the weekend.
The h.Food fringe festival also raised £100 for the Hereford Food Bank over the weekend.
