THE Shop at Bromsberrow raised more than £60 from the sale of daffodils in its collection tin which was on the counter for customers to see and donate. The money box was handed over to Sue Brambell, Marie Curie Team Ledbury fundraiser. Spokesperson Jan Long remarked that local people in this small rural village had been very generous in supporting Marie Curie knowing the money raised was going towards a vitally important cause. She said "We will also be holding a coffee morning on Saturday from 10am until 12 noon to raise funds for Macmillan nurses. This fun event will include games and quizzes and of course delicious home made cakes and sweets for which the shop in well known."
