COLLECTIONS at county supermarkets have helped raise £2,190 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association this summer.
The funds were collected from a number of Herefordshire stores and
will go towards supporting local families affected by MND as well as the association's research programme into its causes and possible treatments.
The recent ice bucket challenge that has swept across social media has so far raised more than half a million pounds for the charity.
