ANOTHER large housing application has been pitched in Clehonger.
The Hereford Times reported in June that Gladman Developments want to build 90 homes off Madley Road.
The latest application, submitted by Mr and MrsGladwyn and Mrs J Davies, is for up to 80 properties on land between Gosmore Road and the Seven Stars pub.
A planning document submitted to Herefordshire Council states that 35 per cent of the homes would be affordable and the site is suitable for residential development.
"Although it is not possible to completely mitigate the visual impact, particularly those relating to obstruction of views, the proposed development framework plan does address these impacts," reads the planning, design and access statement.
"Retention and protection of the existing hedgerows on the site boundary and a landscape scheme within the housing area will strengthen and improve the existing landscape features."
Access to the proposed development would be off the B4349, adjacent to the pub.
