A section of Widemarsh Street in Hereford is closed due to a gas leak.
PART of Widemarash Street in Hereford is currently closed while emergency excavation work is carried out following a gas leak.
The affected area is between Blackfriars Street and Newtown Road where the gas main is 2.5 metres below the ground.
Transco - which is carrying out the work - said every effort will be made to complete it by Friday but this cannot be guaranteed at present.
