AN antique bell worth thousands of pounds was stolen during a burglary near Bromyard.

It is believed that the bell, worth between £10,000 to £12,000, was moved through a number of fields on a heavy duty cart in Linley Green before being picked up by a parked vehicle.

It was made by the company John Taylor and has the numbers 232 and 11 on it.

The burglary happened between 1.50am and 9am on Friday, August 8.
