A WOMAN has been sent to prison for 24 weeks after committing shop lifting while she was serving a suspended sentence.
Elizabeth McCulloch, from Overbury Road, Birmingham, stole £623.93 worth of cosmetics from Leominster Pharmacy on August 7.
Hereford Magistrates Court heard that the 38-year-old had a history of shop lifting and was currently serving an 18-month suspended sentence when she committed her latest offence.
In defence, Chris Morgan said she had a problem picking up her prescription and had re-lapsed.
He added that she has been offered a job as a secretary.
