TOMORROW (JUne 25) Sharon Simcock is having her head shaved for charity.

The event will be held at The Radnor Arms, New Radnor at 7.30pm to raise money for Macmillan Shave or Style Campaign.

Her hair is then being donated to the Little Princess Trust, who use the hair to make wigs for children suffering hair loss.

Sharon's hair will be cut by her hairdresser Andrea Stokes who runs the hair surgery at Eardisley and has been doing Sharon's hair for 20 years.

Sharon's big cut is in memory of her dad Hedley Simcock, who passed away in August 2011 following a battle with cancer. In addition, Sharon wanted to show support for her best friend who was also diagnosed with cancer, but who is thankfully now well.

Sharon said "Watching them both suffer was so painful. Macmillan are a great charity that support so many people with cancer and their families.

"People have been so generous already, I am amazed at how much has been donated already. Obviously the more the better for the charity."

Donations can be made by sponsoring Sharon at ESCO's New Radnor shop, left in the box at the Radnor Arms or at KBS in Kington. Alternatively you can donate direct to Macmillan via Sharon's page www.shaveorstyle.org.uk/shavers/sharon-simcock/.
