THE latest must-have items stocked by Hereford's independent retailers will be showcased during a charity fashion show.

Models will strut their stuff on the catwalk wearing items from shops such as Cherry Savidge, Hat Trick, Pritchards Menswear and Philip Morris.

Money raised from the event, which takes place at The Courtyard on September 11, will raise funds for the Edgar Street venue and the Hereford-based Little Princess Trust.

The event, which is being organised by The Courtyard and Peter Prosser Hairdressing, will also showcase the work of students at Hereford College of Arts.

Other attractions during the evening will include performances by Hereford Cathedral School's string quartet.

"The Trust is delighted to benefit from what promises to be a fantastic evening," said Monica Glass, charity manager with the Little Princess Trust which provides real hair wigs to children suffering hair loss because of cancer treatment.

"The charity is lucky to receive so much local support from across the entire county and we are very, very grateful.

"I urge you to buy a ticket, come and have a wonderful night out, all in aid of two local causes."

Tickets are £20 and include a pre-show reception. Tickets can be bought at The Courtyard box office on 01432 340555 or online at courtyard.org.uk
