A LIFE-saving county appeal has been given a boost thanks to Herefordshire Freemasons.
Cobalt – a charity that supports people affected by cancer and other life-limited conditions – has been given another £500 donation from the Freemasons.
The charity is celebrating its 50th anniversary and has acquired seven mobile MRI scanner at a cost of £1.8 million per unit.
A further £500,000 is needed to complete the purchase.
The units will supplement the fixed digital scanning facilities recently installed at Hereford County Hospital.
