ROSS Rotary Club - model railway exhibition.

On August 16 and 17, Ross on Wye Rotary Club will be holding their second model railway exhibition at John Kyrle High School. Last year the exhibition attracted 15 layouts and was supported by trade stands. All of the exhibitors were very impressed with the venue, and we are very pleased that John Kyrle High School has agreed to the second show. John Kyrle is an exceptional school and Rotarians are always impressed by the standard of teaching and the ability of students whenever they attend functions at the school.

This year there will be over 20 exhibitors and the usual trade stands where the public can purchase items for their own layouts, or even start their first one - there will be plenty of advice available!

The purpose of the exhibition, as well as to entertain, is to raise funds for Rotary charities, especially in the 2014-15 year, Marches Family Network. The Marches Network provides high quality respite care services for children with disabilities and special needs including Saturday play days and summer holiday play schemes which are extremely popular. They also provide support for the families of disabled children locally.

The exhibition will be open on both days from 10am until 4pm and snacks will be available throughout the day.

The entrance fees are: adults £4, age concession £3, family £10.
